Drums

Jamie is Single at present. 

He currently lives in Helston with his

Mum and Brother.

History
 
having gotten bored of learning the piano, Jamie decided at the age of 12 to give the drums a go and he seemed to have a natural talent for them.  

Jamie met flipside at a charity gig in the Penventon Park Hotel, which is where they learned that Jamie could play the drums.  At that point, Flipside were interested in finding a stand in drummer for a gig that James could not make.  Jamie was invited to a practice session and was hired for this one off gig, his first paid gig at the age of 14.
 
Over the following year, Jamie played several gigs to fill in for James and when James decided to take a gap year, Jamie became the drummer for flipside on a more permanent basis. 
 

Equipment
 
After deciding that lugging a full sized drum kit around was too much hassle, Rob invested in a more portable drum kit.  

The Traps A400 is basically a normal drum kit which was in the wash for too long (meaning it shrunk) it sounds the same, feels the same and deafens guitarists just the same as any other drum kit can (ask Chris).  

Jamie uses an array of cymbals and a pearl Steve Ferrone signature snare (very loud)  
 

Musical Influences
 
Jamie is a fan of a much heavier style of music

(as flipside found out when mr double pedal made an appearance in practice)
